How do you separate poultry if you only want to cook some of it? - poultry bags

I have two large chicken legs, which were not frozen when I was buying, I went into the refrigerator in the kitchen, because I think too soon. If you are a chef, I have in the freezer? Or is it insecurity and confine myself to the two cook?
Moreover, as with other meats .. If I had frozen, I can get only part of the kitchen, and put the rest in the freezer zipper bag and store in the freezer?

Chicken legs may be stored for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. While you're in this beautiful, is a cook and freeze the other side. The raw chicken can be kept up to 6 months in the freezer if well wrapped. Cooked chicken does not stay so long in the freezer (3 months).

With frozen meat, it is possible, the pods (for cooking small quantities of a break), but only if they remain frozen separately. The meat may only once thawed. Before the freezing of large packages can sometimes be advantageous to separate and pack them. This is also outside the store is not always the best / most durable way to keep in the freezer too.

If you want to wash manually separate the pieces with chilly feet (or) a clean work surface immediately frozen again and should have no problem all. Just keep the area free of dust, and that is how they are transported microorganisms.
Even if some bacteria multiply and boosters are not destroyed by cooking.
The idea is to avoid the freezing multiplying microorganisms. You can not grow at low temperatures (hence the need for the incubators in the laboratory of bacteriology)

If meat is frozen, it is advisable in bags and freeze for a later date to ask if you are still among the best date. If it is frozen, you can frozen the part you want to use, and the rest, thaw the package delete, but do not remove and freeze again. I buy packages of family size as they are cheaper and split up when I freeze at home or at night and in small pockets. Whenever I have a cent I want.

Independent freeze.
When something is frozen, thawed and refrozen, you can be part of it, so that if you separate when frozen ...., great, if not No Dice.
However, once cooked, can be refrozen.
